Happy fourth of July.
No new videos to commemorate the nation's freedom from the British.
BUT we were treated to a new video from SERABO this week.
Experts talk about the comedy "rule of threes" in comedy. There's a three-act strucutre, three-panel comic strips, three people in a joke (i.e. a priest, a rabbai and a lawyer walk into a bar), three Stooges, three "Rush Hour" movies, etc.
But "Garbage Day? Graduation Day!!!" proves to the be the exception to the rule. It's a two-parter, but I don't want to give anything away...
Okay, I've got to go, the "Twilight Zone" marathon isn't going to watch itself.

Welcome to the party, Serabo!
Friends, please give a warm welcome to the newest super-star in “Garbage Day” inspired videos. He’s a self-described amateur actor-singer-wrestler and he likes making “goofy movies.” SERABO, you are just the kind of guy we’re looking for.
For starters, he delivered this “Garbage Day Spoof” -- he’s brought some nice elements to the mix, including Beethoven’s fifth, a cast of players and he begins the re-enactment not at the garbage but with Ricky’s confrontation with the law.
Enough of my yakking, see for yourself --
Days later he’s back with a virtual cocktail of B-movie genres, simply titled “Garbage Day? No, Payday”
Serabo’s next installment hits on a calendar holiday previously untapped by Garbage Day filmmakers. It’s “Garbage Day? No, President’s Day”
It would be easy to dismiss Serabo’s “Garbage Day? no, Christmas day!!!” as being too on-the-nose as a parody of “Silent Night, Deadly Night 2”
But consider this -- modern action movies are looking more like videogames, and Serabo offers a breath of fresh air by having the gunman take a long time with his homicidal act. It’s not too fast, it’s not too slow; it’s just right.
3 days later he’s made ANOTHER video. He’s keeping a brisk pace with his production schedule, he’s not making them on the weekends. Or maybe he’s shooting on the weekend and editing at night. I don’t know, who can say how Serabo’s mind works.
This Serabo guy brings it: the costumes, the music, the variety of firearms. He’s made 5 videos in less than a month and he really knows how to take a fall.
The videos might not be as clever as Somethingday’s, but this dude really believes in his art, and here at Garbagdays.blogspot.com, we salute him!
